Amy Winehouse

It saddens me to hear the recent news about Amy Winehouse and makes me even sadder to hear all of the negative comments about her in the press.

A few little drawings

 Whilst having a little delve through some of my old doodles from university,

   I came across some little pictures of a period when I went through a phase of

loving all things British. I grew up watching constant repeats of Only fools 

  and horses and listening to Queen so what better way to celebrate them than

to draw them!

Is there anything better than drawing a man with a beard?

I think that given the chance, I could draw fat faced men with little beards all day.

Screen-printing I miss thee

I am lucky enough to be working as a designer and illustrator in a lovely company in west London at the moment with a lovely little team of cracking people and a studio dog that is too incredible to describe in words. The one thing that I am starting to miss is being able to screen-print everyday and be able to justify being pretty much covered head to toe in paint. Whenever I need a little reminder of how I need to begin screen-printing again, I look through the hundreds of prints that I am still stashing in my room from pretty much printmaking for two years back when I was a student.
I pretty much lived in the print room of my old university and have fond memories of setting up my own little print studio in my student house and pretty much printing day and night. I am determined to find the time to carry on printmaking again!

Glasto is my excuse for not blogging for a year

My only excuse for not making a single blog post for a whole year is the fact that I went to Glastonbury a few weeks ago. What a crap excuse.
